We spent some time investigating Snow Leopards and found lots of amazing information, facts, and stories. The things that surprised us most about Snow Leopards were these facts:
There are only 3,500 - 7,000 Snow Leopards living in the wild (researchers estimate).
They are really good at camouflage, and use there special spotty fur to blend into their surroundings.
They have a really long thick tail that they use for warmth, comfort and balance.
Take a look at these National Geographic Kids Resources to learn more about Snow Leopards, like we did!
We had a go at drawing a snow leopard, it was harder than it looks! See how we did in our art gallery.
