This week we investigated Orcha Whales. We found out that not all Orcha Whales are endangered, but they are all at risk. We definitely need to learn more about them and try to help them.
Our Favourite Orcha Whale Facts
Nuri - "I liked the false fact - Orcha Whales aren't actually endangered, but just at risk, and also that the name of a group of Orcha Whales is a Pod"
Rosaleen - "I liked those facts too, especially the one about the pod, because at school our class is divided into pods! Also I like that the whale's tail is called a Fluke!"
We found this really lovely video animation about Orcha Whale Grandmothers and how important they are to all the rest of the pod.
To finish up we made some lovely orcha whale pictures - you can try them here or look for our pictures in our Art Gallery.
