π¦ It's the start of September and for some of us in Earth Club, those of us in the Northern Hemisphere - the northern part of the globe - we have just stepped into Autumn (or Fall). For our friends in the Southern Hemisphere like Flossie in Australia, Spring is just beginning. As the seasons change we ahve been thinking about animals who move about when the weather gets warmer or colder in different places. we decided to take a look at animals who migrate. We were especially interested in birds. Here is what we have found out so far... π¦

First We watched a short video telling us a bit about three different kinds of animals that migrater - on the land, in the sea, and in the air.
Then we looked at a second video which exlplained a bit more about which birds migrate and how far some of them go...
Next we read a story about migrating birds. It gave us lots more information on migrating birds!
We learnt that some birds migrate to find a safe place to lay their eggs and have their babies hatch out. So, we decided to draw a little baby bird in a nest to finish up.
